Who manages my website?
Your website can be managed in-house or externally. Some website owners like to manage their own websites because it allows them to stay in touch with the “pulse” of their online presence. . . In the same way that being at your physical location allows you to stay in touch with the ebb and flow of activity on a day to day, week to week, month to month basis.
Some website owners like to outsource the management of their websites because it gives them access to expertise that they do not have in house. Quite often they simply do not have the time or desire to manage it themselves.
We provide website management services on an occasional a la carte basis for some clients (filling in where needed) and on a consistent contractual basis for others.
A la carte services are customized for each client and quoted on a fixed fee basis when possible.
We have three website management packages for clients who are more heavily invested in the health of their websites. The clients who choose this option usually do so because their site is already a significant driver of business, or they are committed to making it so. Current contract lengths are six months because it simply takes time to develop, implement and measure the results of any strategy. However, we are developing three month “intensive care” versions to address sites that are seriously underperforming or need a more rapid course correction.
